Horace Potter was based in Boston but moved to Cleveland to attend arts school. He was one of the earliest members of the Society of Arts and Crafts and formed Potter Studios around 1910. Many of their objects incorporated other pieces of art, Chinese jade, Batchelder tiles, etc.
